ATPO of MCC Suspended

Mangalore, Nov 14: Assistant Town Planning Officer (ATPO) Dileep of Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) was suspended on Nov 13, Friday on grounds of neglecting his duties. 

Dr. Vijayprakash, the corporation commissioner, said that all the corporation officers were clearly instructed to take care that the buildings under construction in Mangalore do not violate any construction laws. 

Since the ATPO in question did not follow the instructions given, he was suspended from his duties.
