Jesus Youth organizes one-day programme “Jesu Apoita”

Mangalore, June 21: The Jesus Youth of Mangalore organized a one-day Konkani programme “Jesu Apoita” for the youth of Mangalore Diocese at Milagres School Hall on June 20, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. More than 240 young people participated in this programme. 

Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Mrs. Merlin Menezes, and Mr. Anil D’Souza were the resource persons. Ms Crystal, Mr. Baptist, Mr. Paul (Mysore), and Mrs. Bernadette spoke about how Jesus had brought a difference in their lives.

Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, the vicar general, celebrated the Holy Eucharist while Fr. Nelsin Pinto OCD preached the homily. The adoration was led by Fr. Franklin D’Souza. Fr. Vijay Lobo, Fr. Anil D’Souza, Fr. Jesudas, and Sr. Michelle also participated in the programme. 

The Jesus Youth is also celebrating its silver jubilee this year.
