Security Forces Intensify Anti Naxal Operation in Western Ghats

Kundapur, Nov 10: Karnataka State Reserve Police, Anti Naxal Force, and District Armed Reserve Police are collaborating to check the anti national activities of naxals in villages located at the bottom of the Western Ghats. Security has been tightened in the villages surrounding Hebri.  

More than a thousand policemen have been stationed in the forests where the naxals are hiding. Superintendents of police of 4 districts are leading the operation against these naxals by minutely searching the forests of the area. The forests are being combed even at night to make life difficult for the naxals. 

Additional medical staff has been deputed the hospitals in these areas to ensure that health care is available for 24 hours during the anti naxal operation.
