Ganesh Amingada’s Book "Baduku Badalisida Hale Scooter" Released

Mangalore, Nov 5: Journalist Ganesh Amingada’s latest book “Badukuk Badalisida Hale Scooter” was released by Hampa Nagarajayya the senior litterateur at the Canara Pre-university College auditorium on Nov 5, Thursday. Kantahavara Kannada Sangha, Karkala, organized the programme. Jayalakshmi Alva and Pradeep Kumar Kalkura were present on the occasion.

Dr. Prabhakar Joshi, critic and Yakshagana Arthdari, spoke on the occassion. He said that reading the book was essential in order to obtain knowledge; but, the reader must take care not to get lost in it. He also mentioned that a writer can write books in any Kannada dialect, but he/she must ensure that all Kannada readers can understand it. 

Kumble Sundar Rao, the president of Karnataka Yakshagana Academy, presided over the function. Savitha Amaresh presented a Hindustani singing programme on stage. Madhuri Sriram compered the programme.
