Dr NSAM First Grade College student wins gold medal in Manipal Marathon

Manipal, Feb 13, 2020: Bhoomika, student of II BBA at Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Nitte bagged the gold medal along with a cash award of Rs. 50,000/- in the Manipal Marathon held on 9th February 2020 at Manipal.

 

In the women’s categary, the 42 km open run, Bhoomika, who covered the distance in 3 hours, 37 minutes and 09 seconds. She was followed by Deepika Prakash and Priyanka H B who bagged second and third positions respectively.

Manipal Marathon was organised jointly by MAHE and Udupi district Athletics Association to create awareness on organ donation among masses, at KMC Greens ground on early morning of Feb 9, 2020.
