Gandhi playwriting competition

Mangaluru, September 1, 2019: Samadarshi Vedike, Nehru Chintana Kendra of Mangalore University and Gandhi Chinthana Yathre Samithi, have organised a Gandhi playwriting competition to mark the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi.

The play, written in Kannada, should be able to present Gandhian ideology within 15 minutes.

The copy of the play should be submitted on or before September 15 to Samadarshi Vedike, C/o Ganga, Saimon Road, Kankanady, Mangaluru - 575 002. The play, in a pdf format, can be sent to samadarshivedike@gmail.com

The first page of the play should have the name of the writer, address, phone number and email address. The owners of the best entries will be awarded during the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations on October 2, 2019.

The winners will get Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000, respectively.
