Mescom’s ECS facility commences Thursday

Mangalore, Mar 31: Mescom consumers, who live within the limits of Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) and whose banks are under the purview of the Bank Clearing House, can now pay their monthly electricity bills via electronic clearing service (ECS) starting Thursday. 

Mescom has issued a press release, which states that all consumers who wish to use this facility must have a current account or a savings account in any bank that comes under the purview of the Bank Clearing House. The consumers are also required to have a Reveneue Register Number (RR No.) in No. 1, 2 , 3, Surathkal, and Ullal sub divisions. The consumers will get 0.25 percent incentive on the total amount of their bills. 

Consumers who want to avail of the ECS facility must obtain a mandate form in triplicate from their respective sub divisions and must submit it to their bank. The bank must submit two of these mandate forms to the concerned sub divisions after scrutiny.
