Hindu Jana Jagruthi Samithi submits memorandum on adulteration of milk

Udupi, March 31, 2019: The members of Hindu Jana Jagruthi Samithi submitted a memorandum to Udupi DC Hephsiba Rani Korlapati demanding steps to check adulteration of milk and banning of porn sites.

Samithi members said that detergent powder, caustic soda, artificial colouring agents, refined oil and other chemicals were being used to adulterate the milk. Such adulteration of milk is harmful to the health of human beings.

Mohan Singh Ahluwalia, member, Animal Welfare Board of India in his report had highlighted that adulterated milk was consumed by lakhs of Indians. The government should initiate suitable measures to check such adulteration, Vishwanath Nayak of Samithi demanded.
