Kota to host Udyog mela February 24,Sunday

Udupi, Feb 21, 2019: A district-level udyog mela will be held at the Viveka Pre-University College at Kota in Udupi district on February 24, Sunday.

Kota Srinivas Poojary, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, told media on  Feb 20, Wednesday that the mela will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m, and around 1,500 candidates have registered.

Among the over 70 companies that are slated to participate are HP, Wipro, IBM, HDFC, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Hinduja Global and Infosys. Raghavendra, PMKVY centre head, said that of the 70 companies, which would participate in the mela, 20 were technical, the rest were non-technical.

The candidates should bring at least five copies of their resume, he said.
