Beary Mela at Town Hall February 8 to 10.

Mangaluru, Feb 07, 2019: Addressing media Bearys’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) president S M Rasheed informed that a  Beary Mela at Town Hall in Mangaluru from February 8 to 10 is organised.

Chamber president S M Rasheed went on to say that the purpose of the Mela was to create and promote entrepreneurship and Beary culture and their contribution to business. There will be stalls for business to customers, food court, seminars, networking and cultural programmes as a part of the Mela.

He said that the Mela will be inaugurated by Home Minister M B Patil. Minister U T Khader will release the souvenir. Yenepoya Deemed to be University Chancellor Y Abdulla Kunhi will inaugurate the exhibition.

“The Chamber was formed with an objective to play the role of a catalysts in terms of encouraging, helping and nurturing the growth and development of trade in Karnataka. Since its inception, the Chamber has organised several programmes, including entrepreneurship development and GST training sessions,” added Rasheed.

On February 9, a day with successful businessmen programme will be organised at 10.30 am. There will be a ‘Bearys Got Talent’ programme from 4.30 pm to 7 pm.

B Ahmed Haji Mohiyuddin, B A Group chairman, will be conferred the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr M Abdul Rahman, Calicut and Kannur Universities former vice chancellor, will be conferred the BCCI Academic Excellence Award. Sheikabba Karnire, director of Expertise Group, will be presented the BCCI NRI Business Excellence Award. M Ahmed, A K Group of Companies founder, will be presented BCCI Business Excellence Award.
