B.M. Hegde chosen president of DK sahitya sammelana

Mangaluru, Jan 10, 2019: Dakshina Kannada Sahitya Parishat has selected writer and senior cardiologist B.M. Hegde as the president of the 23rd Dakshina Kannada Sahitya Sammelana to be conducted for three days at Town Hall here from January 29.

Dr. Hegde is a Padma Vibhushan recipient and former Vice-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. He has written a number of articles on medicine and the medical sector in reputed journals. Dr. Hegde is not only a good orator, but he has written a number of books, a release from S. Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, parishat president, said.
