Cops unearth sex racket at Idya : 1 arrested; 3 women rescued

Mangaluru, Dec 9, 2018: CCB police who raided a house  near the Sri Mahalaxmi Complex in Idya near Suratkal on December 8, Saturday on the suspicion that a sex racket was operating from the place, have rescued three young women. A man identified as Punith Kumar has been arrested. The raid followed a tip off.

Apart from the three women, two customers were also at the house during the raid.  After the latter revealed that it was Punith Kumar who brought them there the cops arrested him and seized a car, Rs 51,450 cash and a mobile phone from him.

Further investigations are underway.
