Woman hit by bus in Jyothi Circle

Mangalore, Dec 10: A woman was killed in a road accident caused by rash driving on the part of a city bus driver on Dec 9, Wednesday, at Jyothi Circle.

The woman is Celine Pinto (58), the wife of Dolphy Pinto who resides in Lower Bendoor. The bus hit her when she getting off an auto rickshaw. She sustained severe injuries and died in hospital.

The Mangalore East Traffic Police have informed that a case has been registered against the bus driver for rash driving.
