Udupi, Aug 20, 2014:  A person was killed after his motorbike was knocked down by the Tata Ace vehicle plying from Trasi to Mullikatte in Kundapur on Tuesday.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Surendra Achari. He was killed when his motorbike was hit by the vehicle coming in the opposite direction.  A case has been registered in Kundapur police station.

In another incident, a person was killed after his motorbike skidded in an attempt to save a stray dog at Basrur junction in Kundapur on Aug 19. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Mohammed Gouse.

He was riding towards Siddhapura from Kundapur, when the tragedy struck. He succumbed to the injuries in the hospital. A case has been registered in Kundapur traffic police station.
