This programme is aimed educating people on the health menace that threatens to make India the largest diabetic country in the world. The awareness campaign will include features like "Take the Stairs" through which employees and stakeholders of the unit will be encouraged to take the stairs to inculcate healthy habits.

Dr Chakrapani, professor of medicine, briefed about the benefits of the Diabetes Club Card to be launched on World Diabetes Day. Cardholders can avail various benefits at KMC Hospital, Attavar, and Ambedkar Circle.  Several advantageous give-aways are to be organised for participants.
