Teenager arrested for attempted sexual assault

Udupi, July 28, 2014:  Reports confirm that a 15-year-old boy  attempted to sexually molest a second standard girl student, at Puthige village in Moodbidri police station limits on July 26. The police have arrested the minor delinquent boy and  produced him  before Juvenile Justice Board.

  As per the details given, from Moodbidri; after  tuition classes, the victim was bound to her home when the minor boy pulled her bag and took her to a secluded area and tried to outrage her modesty.

The girl fled from the spot and informed her relatives, who made a complaint. The police have filed cases  of attempt to assault and Prevention of Atrocities Act. Further investigations are in progress.
