State government sanctions Rs 1 crore for Paryaya

Udupi, Jan 6: The state government has sanctioned Rs 1 crore to establish facilities for the devotees who will be visiting Udupi during the Paryaya.

A team comprising Home Minister Dr V S Acharya, Municipality President Herga Dinakara Shetty, and MLA K Raghupathy Bhat visited the chief minister and convinced him to sanction the sum.

Members of the municipality Ravi Ameen, Prabhakar Poojary, Kiran Kumar, Suresh Nayak, and many others were also present.
