Shetty files nomination for MLC elections

Mangalore, Dec 1: Prathap Chandra Shetty of Kundapur has filed his nomination at the DC’s office for the Vidhan Parishad or Legislative Council elections, which are to be held on Dec 18, 2009. Prabhakar Sharma, the assistant deputy commissioner, received the nomination from Mr. Shetty. 





MLA of Bantwal Ramanath Rai; MLA of Mangalore U T Khader; Former MLA of Suratkal Vijay Kumar Shetty, Former MLA of Kundapur Jayaprakash Hegde, Bondala Jagannatha Shetty, Vishwas Das, Tharanatha Shetty, Dennis D’Silva, Mamatha Gatti, Mohiddin Bava, and other congress workers were present during the filing of the nomination.
