School vehicles in taluks to be scrutinised

Mangaluru, Aug 27,2016: In view of the heightened needs of safety of schoolchildren, the Dakshina Kannada police, RTO, Department of Public Instruction and Revenue Department officials will jointly inspect the school vehicles in Puttur and Bantwal taluks.

A press release from DK SP Bhushan Gulabrao Borase said that all the school vehicles should be produced at Thenkila Vivekananda School ground at 3 pm on August 27 for inspection.

The vehicles from Bantwal taluk should be produced at Infant Jesus School premises at Modamkaup in B C Road at 10 am on August 28. The drivers should get their register book, insurance details, permit details, pollution check certificate, first aid box, fire extinguisher and other documents.
