Mangalore, Aug 24, 2014: Addressing a press meet Billawas Dubai and Northern Emirates Charitable Trust will organise a programme to distribute scholarships to the meritorious students, at Shri Gokarnanatheshwara temple in Kudroli on August 24.

Trust President Jithendra Suvarna said that the trust has chosen 201 deserving students who are studying medicine, engineering, nursing, post graduation, and PhD programmes.

Eleven students will get recognition by way of excellency awards. The Trust has also identified five helpless and sick individuals who are in need of financial assistance for medical care. This year, the Trust will be distributing Rs 12.23 lakh. The programme will be graced by Arya Renukananda Swamiji of Shri Narayana Gury Mutt Solluru.
