SMG and Mithra Mandali organize free eye check up camp

Mangalore, Jan 23: The Samatha Mahila Group (SMG) organized a free eye check up camp in collaboration with Mithra Mandali of Kudupu. 

Dr. Jayaram Shetty, Dr. Nelli Nazareth, and Dr. Rushikesh Ameen were the ophthalmologists who conducted the eye tests. They conducted 158 free eye tests and recommended 28 free cataract operations. 

Prof Sethu Madhava Rao, the honorable president of the Visually Impaired Union; Dr. Prabhakar Rao Kudupu; Shri Krishnaraj Thantri, and Corporator Bhaskar Moily lit the lamp and inaugurated the event. 

Smt Vishalakshi Rao, the president of Samatha Mahila Group, made the welcome speech. Raghavendra and Nagesh conducted the camp.
