Uppinagady,Sep 16, 2014 : A two-wheeler rider was killed when the two--wheeler fell into a gorge at Bollaru in Nekkiladi on Sept 15.  According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Mithun (19), a resident of Peraje in Madikeri taluk.

The injured pillion rider is Manjunath, a resident of Hubli. The mishap occurred when they were bound to Uppinangady.
