A delegation of fishermen will meet the prime minister Modi in New Delhi and will request him to perform the ground breaking ceremony for the fisheries port, Baikampady said.   He further said that compensation amount of Rs one crore released by the MSEZ towards the problem caused to fishermen by releasing of affluent, has been disbursed to fishermen, through their bank accounts on July 18, following an order by the DC on July 16.

Hadinalku Patna Mogaveera Sabha President Rajiv Kanchan said that even though requests were made to MLA Mohiyuddin Bava to initiate steps towards the disbursement of the compensation, there was no response from him. But, after the amount is released, Bava has been claiming that it was because of his efforts, which has insulted the fishermen.  M G Vaman and Amin Baikampadi were present at the press meet.
