Posing as customers couple pocket Jewelry,garmentsin Karkala

Mangaluru, June 15,2017: A rogue middle aged couple is reported to have stolen jewelry and clothes worth lakhs in two separate shops in Karkala town. The woman, man and a girl arrived in the guise of customers and robbed a karimani necklaces worth in Rs 2, 35000 from a jewelry showroom.  Showroom manager Satheesh Prabhu has registered a complaint at Karkala town police station on the incident.

Earlier,  the same couple went into at a clothes store posing as customers and stole  clothes worth a few thousands of rupees. The movement of the members of the gang recorded on CCTV camera of the shops and the police have concluded that thieves involved in both cases are probably the same gang. The police are investigating the case.
