Hubli, Jan 8: Gursharan Kaur, the wife of PM Manmohan Singh, visited Hubli on Thursday to be with the family of her sister Harpreet Kaur (67) who expired on Jan 4 because of breathing difficulties. 

Harpreet’s family resides in Vidyanagar, Hubli. The entire area is now heavily guarded and protected by security squads. 

Gursharan was accompanied by her Dhanu Kaur. Official sources have revealed that she will be in Hubli for a couple of days and will leave on Saturday morning.

Harpreet Kaur is survived by Hariman Singh, her husband, and 3 sons, Manmeet Singh, Harmeet Singh, and Parvinder Singh, and daughter Radhika.
