Nitte holds workshop on ’Artificial Intelligence’

Mangaluru, Sep 19,2017: The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) chapter of NMAM Institute of Technology organized a two-day workshop on “Artificial Intelligence and machine learning” in association with HT India Labs, New Delhi, at Nitte in Udupi district, September 16 and 17.

A press note by NMAMIT on Sept 18, Monday said 48 students from computer science, information science, and electronics and communications engineering participated in the workshop. Animesh Yadav from HT India Labs was the trainer.

Modules covered in the workshop included introduction to Artificial Intelligence, working with fuzzy logic algorithm, problem formulation, defuzzification, and rulebase, introduction to machine learning, applications of machine learning, database mining, supervised learning introduction and examples, dynamic neural networks, genetic algorithm, and case studies.  Jason, Abhir Bhandary and Javed, were staff coordinators for the workshop, the release said.
