Mangaluru, Dec 21, 2017: “Mangaluru offers education and opportunities in a multi pronged manner in many streams,” said Mangaluru South MLA J R Lobo.  He was speaking as chief guest at the CA students’ conference ‘Arohan’ at T V Raman Pai Convention Centre in Mangaluru.

Stating that the students of CA will have the best future, the legislator said that the students have to do away with a lethargic attitude.

Professional values :  Inaugurating the conference, Nitte Deemed-to-be University Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr M S Moodithaya said that the students must inculcate professional values along with their studies and they have to think out of the box as well. Co-curricular activities are as important as studies. Students should be a part of the society that brings on change rather than just speak about it.

South Indian Chartered Accountants Students wing, Mangaluru, President K S Kamath and Indian Chartered Accountants South Indian Committee President Bhargava Tantri were present.

The two-day conference will discuss on GST for e-commerce services, payment banks and their effects on normal banking sector, impact of permanent establishment and place of effective management on income taxation, data security and auditors role in data security, Impact of RERA Act and demonetisation on real-estate business, ease of doing business in accordance with Companies Act 2013.
