Kundapur students to take part in Iternational Seminar

Udupi, July 22, 2014:  According to press reporrts, 2 students from Kundapur received distinct privilege to take part in a seminar on ‘Children and governance; Information management’ to be held at Trondheim city in Norway from July 26 to August 3. From Udupi.

Venkatesh Mogaveera and Annapoorna from Bhoomika Sangha in Kundapur have been selected to participate in the seminar for two days. The seminar is held as a part of St Olav Festival that is celebrated in Norway to commemorate the 200th year of the formation of Norway Constitution. An international seminar on the Children’s Right to question is held and discussion on ‘Children and governance; Information management’ will be held.


Venkatesh hails from Amparu and Annapoorna is from Aloor. They both have gained experience of participating in gram sabhas and they will share their experiences in the international seminar. Elected representatives of Youth Council of Norway and children from suppressed class of society will participate in the discussion.
