Karnataka Bank Contributes Rs 7.5 Lakhs for Vishwa Tulu Sammelan 2009

Mangalore, November 1, 2009: Karnataka Bank Limited, based in Mangalore, has contributed a hefty sum of Rs 7.5 lakhs for the Vishwa Tulu Sammelan 2009 to be held from December 10 - 13, 2009 in Ujire. 

A DD for Rs 7.5 lakhs was given to Mr. Padmabhushan, the honorary president of the convention and Padmabhushan Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, the dharmadikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala, by Mr. B Ashok Hegde, the general manager of the bank, at Dharmasthala on October 30. 

Hemavathi V Heggade, the director of Karnataka Bank; S Prabhakar; D Harshendra Kumar; Mr. P R S Holla, the deputy general manager; N Venkateshwara Bhat, the branch manager of Ujire; and Dr Yasho Varma were also present on this occasion.
