Karkala: BJP says ’no’ to proposed toll gate at Belman

 Karkala, Oct 13, 2017: The Karnataka Government was pursuing an anti-people stance by deciding to construct a toll gate at Belman, alleged V Sunil Kumar, MLA of Karkala.

He was addressing a protest meeting organised on October 12, Thursday by the BJP  along with some other organisations to oppose the government plans to set up a toll gate at Belman.

Pointing out that the road was laid at a cost of Rs 65 crore during BJP rule, Sunil Kumar said there was no proposal of construction of a flyover earlier. He wanted to know why the government wants to have a toll gate in a rural area.

Uday Kumar Shetty, Sadashiva Shetty, Gopal Moolya, Asha Devendra Shetty and others participated in the protest.
