KSRTC bus falls in rivulet, 2 dead

Chikamagalur, Nov 23: 2 persons died and 18 people, including 3 children, sustained serious injuries when a KSRTC bus lost control, swerved off a bridge, and fell into a rivulet near Tarikere, around 60 kms from Chikmaggalur. 

Mallikarjunappa, the deputy superintendent of police, informed that the deceased are Devendra and Jagadish, both natives of Andha Pradesh and aged between 35 - 40 years.

15 of the injured, including the bus driver, are receiving treatment at a Tarikere government hospital. Five have been shifted to a Shimoga government hospital.
