Manipal, Apr 29, 2016: A media release issued on April 28,  Thursday by the Udupi district police said they  have arrested a gang of four men in connection with a series of robberies which took place in Manipal between April 24 and 25.

The police, identified the accused as Mohan, Narayana Swamy and Srinivas from Chickaballapur, and Gangadhar from Doddaballapur. They were arrested near Lakshmindra Nagar here. 

It mentioned that Madhu has nine cases against him at different places in the State and Andhra Pradesh. Gangadhar was involved in four cases of theft in different parts of the State. Narayan Swamy was involved in a murder case in Chickballapur district, the release said.
