Mangalore, Dec 1: The beneficiaries of ESI can now receive free treatment in the general ward of Fr. Muller Medical College Hospital. The state medical commissioner of ESI Corporation, Bangalore, has approved the empanelment of the hospital under ESI Corporation, Bangalore, from Dec 1, 2009. 

The hospital has released a press release stating that it will now provide medical facilities in the areas of cardiology, oncology, urology, paediatric surgery, heart surgery, gastroenterology, surgical gastroenterology, angiogram, nephrology, cardiothoracic, surgical, mammography, neurology, rheumatology, angiogram, and radiotherapy. 

As per the press release, ESI beneficiaries are required to receive authorization from the medical superintendent of ESI Corporation in order to get treated at Fr Muller.
