Mangaluru : Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader has said that the department had recruited 110 leprosy-cured persons to various jobs recently and first chance would be given to them during recruitment drive in future. Minister Khader hailed the services of the Father Muller Charitable Institutions in controlling leprosy from decades ago in the district as unforgettable and a model to the nation. The State has already honoured the institution and now it will be recommend for President’s honour, he added.
