Food Fest 2010 will be held on Panambur Beach on Jan 12 - 17

Mangalore, Jan 10: Food Fest 2010 will be organized at Panambur Beach from Jan 12 - 17 by the Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project. The main sponsor of the event is Arun Masala. 

The aim of the food festival is to introduce the traditional cuisine of Tulunadu to young people who have never tasted it. A wide range of culinary items will be available at reasonable prices throughout the festival. High standards of quality and hygiene will be maintained. 

Yatish Baikampady, the chief of the Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project, said that visitors will be given an opportunity to taste more than 50 varieties of dishes, both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian. Sea food enthusiasts can expect a wide range of items made of prawns, squid, crabs, and fresh-water fish. 

A musical concert by amateur singers will be organized during the first four days of the festival. During the last two days, the International Kite Festival will be organized. 

Arun Masala will launch its brand new product, “Quick and Easy,” and will put it out for sale. On-the-stop demonstrations will be held to teach people specific recipes.
