Belthangady, 01 Sep 2014: A 12-year-old girl and her 50-year-old father were injured after they fell off from the second floor of a building near Belthangady bus stand on Sunday.

According to Belthangady police, Hemachandra had come with his daughter Sevanti and his son for a check-up at a clinic on the building near the bus stand. Passers-by reportedly saw Sevanti slip while climbing towards the clinic. Her father reportedly tried to pull her back.

Both sustained injuries and were moved to a private hospital in Mangalore. The condition of the two was critical and they were under observation, the police said.
