Mangalore, Jan 30: Shri N R Shet, the general manager of Corporation Bank, Mangalore issued a press release, which states that 2 assistant general managers Shri U N Kumar Acharya and Shri S Narendra Pai have been promoted to the post of deputy general managers. 

Shri U N Kumar Acharya joined Corporation Bank in 1972. He served at the bank’s Nariman Point and Overseas branches in Mumbai. In 2000, he was promoted to the post of executive, after which he worked at Navarangapur, Ahmadabad before moving on to Connaught Circus New Delhi. Later he worked at the Investment and International Banking Division in Mumbai and Noida, SME. Before his recent promotion, he worked as the assistant general manager at the Investment and International Banking Division in Mumbai.

Shri S Narendra Pai joined Corporation Bank, Mysore in 1972. He worked at the Dharward and Karwar branches before joining the Personnel Administration, Recovery, and Branch Expansion Division at the Corporation Bank Head Office in Mangalore. In 1998, he was promoted to the post of executive. He was the head of the Goa and Hassan Zones of Corporation Bank. Later, he took charge of the marketing and retail sales unit at Bangalore. Before his recent promotion, he worked at the Human Resources Development and Training Division in the head office at Mangalore as assistant general manager. Shri Pai was a student of Canara high School, Urwa. He graduated from Aloysius College, Mangalore. He has a rich experience of 37 years in the banking sector.
