Candidates asked to lay roads before seeking votes.

Vittal:  The people of Alumbuda, Salmara and Parpaje, Shera and Mulibailu of Barimaru villages have put up a banner on the road, asking vote seekers in the Gram Panchayat elections to lay roads before seeking votes from villagers. They have displayed a banner stating ’Develop roads first, seek votes later’.

Work on Alumbuda - Salmara - Parpaje - Shera- Mulibailu Road has not been completed.

Further, the roads in the region are in pathetic condition, the villagers had submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister, Deputy Commissioner and Lokayukta and so on to no avail.
