Beary academy organises poem and story-writing contests

Mangaluru, Aug 26, 2015: The Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy will organise story and poem-writing competitions as part of the Beary Bhasha Dinacharane.  

The competitions will be organised in three categories - schoolchildren (above ninth standard), college students and the public.  The story should be written neatly on an A4-size paper, the poems should not be more than 20 lines.

The writers of both poems and stories should mention their names, addresses and contact numbers and submit their entries before September 19. The stories and poems written by schoolchildren should be attested by the heads of the education institutions.  The entries should be sent to the address: President/Registrar, Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy, Presidium Commercial Complex, Attavar.

The poems and stories selected at the competitions will be brought out in the form of a book by the Academy.  Further information can be got on telephone number 0824-2412297.
