Mangaluru, May 07, 2018: The Election Commission has banned conduct of exit polls 48 hours before the end of polling hours.

Meanwhile, parties, candidates or their supporters cannot give advertisements on May 11 and May 12 without the approval of the district/State-level media monitoring committees, said DK DC S. Sasikanth Senthil here.

Such advertisements have to be submitted to the additional chief electoral officer before May 9 for approval.
