Mangaluru, Aug 23,2016: The Yenepoya Foundation has invited applications from meritorious students for its academic excellence awards for 2016.  Students who have excelled in SSLC, PU and degree examinations during 2015-16 can apply.

Some awards are common for all students and some are reserved for only Muslim minority students. The awards are limited only to those who have studied in any recognised institution in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod districts. The awards would be given on merit basis.

Those who have scored 90 per cent and above in SSLC/PU and 80 per cent and above in degree courses such as B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.C.A, B.B.M, B.Ed and Afzal-Ulema exams are eligible. The applications should be sent in plain paper along with a passport size photograph enclosing attested copy of the mark list of the examination, clearly indicating the medium of instruction, with correspondence address and phone number of the candidate and also name and address of the institution and contact phone number:

To The Convenor, Academic Excellence Awards Committee, Yenepoya University, Deralakatte, Mangaluru - 575 018 on or before 15th September, a release stated.Cash awards will also be given to Muslim institutions of the three districts, securing 100 per cent results in the category of high school, PU and degree colleges.
