Mangalore, Jan 21: Akhila Bharathiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) will organize a student awareness conference “Mardhani” at Town Hall on Jan 23, Saturday.

Rathi Nayak, the divisional students’ leader said during a press conference organized on Jan 21, Thursday that Ashwini Parnjape, the national secretary of ABVP, Jabalpur, will inaugurate the event and that Dr Ashajyothi Rai will preside over the function.

Mamatha, children’s rights activist of Bangalore will present a paper “Role of Women in Societal Changes.” Manorama, lecture of SDM College, Ujire, will speak on “Role of Women in Political Changes.” Akshatha, student of Women’s Polytechnic College, Mangalore,  will speak on “Role of Women in Changing Education.”

N Ravikumar, the national secretary of ABVP, Bangalore, will deliver the valedictory speech.
