76th Akhila Bharatha Sahitya Sammelana will be organized : MLA Bidaroor

Mangalore, Jan 12: MLA Shailappa Bidaroor has confirmed that the 76th Akhila Bharatha Sahithya Sammelana will be organized in Gadag from Feb 19, 2010.

He further informed reporters that the conference will be organized grandly. He also said that he will lead a delegation of corporators, municipal presidents, and KSP office bearers to Gulbarga on Jan 14 to personally invite Geetha Nagabhushan, the president of the conference. 

He said that all the sub committees will hold meetings and preparations will be made quite in advance to avoid the mistakes of the previous conference. About 75 percent of the preparations have been done.  This time, bus facility will be provided, he said. 

Shreekanth Khatavate, the president of Rural Development Authority; Jayashreee Ugalatada, the municipal president; M S Karrigowda, the BJP president, and many others were also present.
