7 arrested for kidnap and robbery

Mangalore, Jan 18: The Pandeshwar police have arrested 7 men accused of kidnapping and robbing a person, on Jan 15. 

The accused are Krishna Prasad, Harish, Sudath Jain, Praveen Poojary, Sampath, Naveen Poojary, and Sharath. They kidnapped K Prakash Poojary in a rickshaw and robbed him of his money, ATM card, mobile, and watch on Jan 12. The victim lodged a complaint at the Pandeshwar Police Station. 

The arrested have been produced in court, which has sentenced them to judicial custody till Jan 21.
