According to sources, there is a possibility that the post mortem will reach the police on July 30,  Monday. Manipal Hospital officials had earlier informed that the suspected poisonous elements had been found in the Seer’s body but only after police investigation (Post mortem, FSL) it will be revealed if it was food poisoning or something else. Therefore the post mortem report and FSL (Forensic science laboratory) test have gained much importance in this investigation.

The quick pace of the investigation is known. An unnatural death case has been registered under CrPC (Criminal Procedure Code). The case has not been registered under IPC (Indian Penal Code). When the Seer’s lawyer Ravikiran Murudeshwar asked the SP to register a murder case, the SP informed him that a murder case will be automatically registered if the autopsy report suggests it.

Ravikiran also expressed concern over the delay in the preparation of the autopsy report and opinioned that the delay may create the possibility where the poison may be lost.
