Giving a brief introduction to the proposed Kudremukh Reserve Forest project, MLA Gopal Bhandary said that the proposal has been withdrawn.

BJP leaders Mamatha Adhikari and Uday Kotian said that there are rumors that some families in Karkal are on the verge of being rehabilitated. They requested the authorities concerned to investigate the matter seriously. Manjunath Poojary responded to them by stating that it was the BJP, which has been spreading false rumors.

Ration card problems were also discussed at the meeting. ZP members pointed out that exclusion or inclusion of a family member in the ration card requires the physical presence of the person to be excluded or included, which makes things very difficult for the family members.

Considering the number of people who died of drowning this year, members said that, in order to prevent such deaths, fences must be constructed around tanks and ponds.

The members also discussed the proposed transfer of the regional office to Vanse from Siddapur, with Mamatha K. Shetty objecting to the proposal.

Among those present were MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Muzrai Minister Kota Shrinivas Poojary, ZP CEO Prabhakar Sharma, Prasad Chandra Shetty, and others.
