Youth urged to be cautious against divisive forces

Mangaluru, Sept 22, 2019: Activist and thinker Mahendra Kumar has stressed the need for youth to be cautious  against divisive forces in the society which try to disrupt harmony between people of different religions.

He was speaking as a chief guest at the 12th city conference of the DYFI held at Kudmul Rangarao Town Hall on September 22, Sunday with the theme "Create Employment, Save from Unemployment, Employment for Security and a Life of Honour."

He alleged that the attempts were made to develop hatred in the minds of people against  Muslims and Pakistan in the name of patriotism. He questioned whether it was patriotism to create walls of hatred between people.

Naveen Bolpugudde, DYFI city unit President, hoisted the DYFI flag. Muneer Katipalla, State President of DYFI inaugurated the conference.

DYFI DK District President B K Imtiyaz, District Secretary Santosh Bajal,  State Co-Convenor of Women’s Wing Asha Bolur and others were present.
