Youth thrashed for allegedly cheating wife; video viral

Mangaluru, June 13, 2018: A youth who reportedly married a woman making false claim that he was a  Hindu,  was thrashed at Chitranjali Nagar in Kumpala of Ullal Police station limits on June 13, Wednesday.

It is said the youth named Sayyed of Sullia had  introduced himself as Arun Poojary and had married a young woman from Chitranjali Nagar around two and a half years ago.  However, the young woman grew suspicious about her husband  recently  following which she had lodged a police complaint.

On Wednesday, the girl’s family  cleverly convinced the youth to come  home and attacked him no sooner he  arrived. The youth has been taken into custody and is being questioned.

The video of the  incident wherein  the youth is being assaulted is viral on social media.
