Youth killed by father, brother; murder comes to light after 20 days

Kasargod, Dec 26, 2014:   A shocking case of the murder of a youth, allegedly by his own father and brother has stood exposed  on December 25, Thursday that too as many as  nearly three weeks after the killing. The body of the youth was found in a 50 feet deep well into which it was dumped by the duo after committing the heinous crime.

If the deceased youth is Tirumalesh (24), the accused are his father Subba Nayak (61) and brother Ganesh (22).  It is learnt, the police had taken up investigation into the case after locals informed them about the missing of Tirumalesh since some days. Sources said  when the cops had come to the house of the duo for investigation, the latter admitted their guilt.
The murder is learnt to have taken place on the night of December 5, when Tirumalesh who arrived home drunk, picked up a quarrel culminating in Subba and Ganesh  murdering him and then dumping the body into an unused well nearby.

 Only the father and his two sons stayed in the house after the death of Subba Nayak’s mother and the marriage of Tirumalesh’s sister.

Investigations are underway.
