Youth fatally knocked down by speeding car

Udupi, Aug 04, 2020:    A 21 year old    youth lost his life when he was hit by a speeding car  on the Kundapur-Udupi Highway at Kumbragodu on August 8, Monday.

 

The deceased is Akash Poojary. He was talking with his friend Sharath by parking  his bike on the roadside when the speeding  Swift Dzire car  rammed into the  divider and hit Akash. Though Akash was immediately rushed to a local hospital, doctors declared him brought dead. The injured Sharath has  been hospitalised.

It is learnt, Akash was employed at a firm in Mangaluru.  A person named Preetham was driving the car which had caused the mishap. Brahmavar police have registered a case.
